“And let us consider how we may spur each other on to love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together,..., but encouraging one another.”

Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV

   SMALL GROUP REUNION

At the core of Cursillo are the small groups, which meet together    regularly to listen attentively to one another as a form of

   encouragement and shared reflection.

Each member of the group has an opportunity to share an

aspect of prayer, study - through reading or media - and action

that has nourished their Christian faith.

It may be that not everyone will have something to share.

The group is a place of trust and is not a place for advice or

   criticism.

The unique structure of a Cursillo Small Group means it fits

easily into a busy day. It is a simple discipline that takes about

   an hour.

   Empowering Discipleship

When an enquiry comes in or a Cursillista feels prompted to

sponsor a pilgrim on a Cursillo weekend, it is recommended to

first invite the person to join a small group, for them to discover

the Cursillo way of sharing prayer, study and action and how it

can enable  the walk with Jesus through mutual support in

   Christian life.
