Cursillo complements and contributes to our Diocesan vision for
growth – ‘Growing in God’ and enables us to grow in depth and
grow in influence.
Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby writes: “Through Cursillo the love of God is experienced afresh, an
experience which draws us into prayer and compassionate
action. Because of this, Cursillo is a much needed instrument
for the renewal of the life of the Church today, and one for
which I give thanks.”
In our Diocese Cursillo helps us:
To grow into a deeper relationship with God through the
person of Jesus Christ.
To discover our personal vocations and to develop our
individual gifts for Christian service and leadership.
To become more effective witnesses to Jesus Christ in
our lives.
To bring about and strengthen Christian commitment
within a community of faith.
To build up the witness of the Church in the world that
may be renewed and transformed.
